Ceramics Inspired by Architecture

The Artist

Palestinian ceramic artist and architect Leena Ismail creates wheel-thrown stoneware shaped by pattern, symmetry, and architectural geometry. Her work carries themes of memory, displacement, ritual, and place, reflecting both personal history and collective experience. Based in Roslindale, Boston, Leena uses clay as a space for healing, resilience, and connection across communities.
